CDO asks all six Leadership Candidates to back real Party Democracy . The Conservative Democratic Organisation (CDO), which promotes party democracy through our proposed '7 Steps' Reforms - including an elected Party Chairman, giving associations back power to select own MPs and an annual policy conference, a new constitution, reform of CCHQ and return to true Conservative values, has prepared a letter and questionnaire for all six Leadership Candidates with a deadline date of 30th August so we can notify members of the results. The CDO seeks to remain neutral as an organisation in this contest, whilst surveying members' views, though allowing CDO people - including senior officers - actively to support their favoured candidate, but to do so as individuals. We wish all candidates good luck in the contest !
